The Seattle Seahawks have cut defensive back Antoine Winfield.
Winfield, 36, had been listed as the third cornerback for the Seahawks behind Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner.
Hearing that the Seahawks, so deep in the secondary, will be releasing CB Antoine Winfield.

The Seahawks had given Winfield a guaranteed $1 million in April so his release is a bit of a surprise.
Multiple teams have already been linked to Winfield and it would be a surprise if he does not have a roster spot come game time in Week 1.
