With Broncos center Dan Koppen lost for the season the first name that came to everyone’s mind was that of Jeff Saturday.
Saturday, 38, was the longtime center for Peyton Manning in Indianapolis but the former Colts center has no plans to come back from retirement.
During his playing days Saturday played at just under 300 pounds but according to ESPN’s Ed Werder he is now in the 230-240 range.
Jeff Saturday is down to 230-240. No interest in rejoining Peyton in Denver, which lost Dan Koppen and JD Walton at OC #broncos

Saturday signed with Green Bay last season but was benched for the teams playoff run. During the Pro Bowl he hiked the ball to Peyton Manning one last time.
