Ricky Romero will make his first minor league start on Saturday. Romero failed to make the Blue Jays rotation ater a disastorus spring and has been working in extended spring training since.
Romero took a step back last season finishing the year with a 5.77 ERA and a 1.67 WHIP in 32 starts.
The Blue Jays have Romero signed though 2016 and are hoping to rebuild the 28-year-olds mechanics in a fashion similiar to the way the organization rebuilt Roy Halladay.
