John Danks continued his rough spring on Tuesday. In just over three innings against the Reds the left-hander allowed 10 runs on 11 hits.
The White Sox have been patient as Danks works his way back from shoulder surgery but the numbers are becoming hard to ignore.
In 11 innings of work Danks has a 16.36 ERA and a 2.91 WHIP. He has not been a high strike out pitcher for years but he has had no zip on his fast ball this spring.
Danks has maintained that he feels fine, but should he continue to struggle as spring training comes to an end there is the possibility of the White sox placing him on the disabled list to start the year.
