Cowboys expect Dez Bryant to play, hopeful on Spencer

The Dallas Cowboys are expecting wide receiver Dez Bryant to start on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. Concerns were raised when Bryant missed practice on Friday with what has been termed soreness.

Bryant was unable to corral a two point conversion in last weeks 31-29 loss against the Baltimore Ravens.

With 34 receptions and 364 yards Bryant is the leading receiver for the Cowboys. He has caught two touch downs this season.

After the failed two point conversion the Cowboys recovered an onside kick but appeared lost as the offense attempted to get into field goal range. Dan Bailey missed a 51 yard attempt.

The Cowboys are also hopeful that Anthony Spencer will return. Spencer has missed two games with a strained pectoral muscle. Last week the Cowboys welcomed back Jay Ratliff who made his season debut.
