Robert Griffin III will start against Minnesota

Robert Griffin III will play for the Washington Redskins today as they take on the Minnesota Vikings. Griffin had vowed to play during the week after he left last weeks game with a concussion.

Adam Schefter, of ESPN, confirmed what most already knew. The explosive quarterback for the Redskins will not have an easy time against a top ten defense in Minnesota but he should still be able to produce some numbers and more importantly provide the Redskins (2-3) a win to keep them at pace in the NFC East.

Griffin completed in full practice on Friday.

In five games this season Griffin has throw for 1,161 yards and has 4 touchdowns to 1 interception. He also has 241 yards on the ground scoring another 4 touchdowns.
