Roush Fenway plane leaves Talladega, drops luggage

UPDATE: Roush Fenway employee states that the Cargo Door was not left open and that a bag was placed on the planes wheel well.

The following comes from the twitter for Greg Biffle’s Sprint Cup Team (@163mteam)

“Just to clear things up: the bag had been place on a wheel well by a new employee rather than in the luggage bay. The door was not left open.

All is well on Roush Air. And someone learned a very important lesson about proper luggage placement. And that person needs new underpants.”

Matt Kenseth won Sunday’s race at Talladega with an impressive run on the races final two laps. His teammate Greg Biffle finished sixth.

A bag fell off the wheel well of one of the teams planes. Previously it had been reported that the cargo door had been left open and luggage spilled out.
