Titans fear Jake Locker’s shoulder seperation is worse then thought

Jake Locker’s shoulder separation occurred in Week 1 but the Tennessee Titans have increased their concern after it popped out again this week.

Texans safety Glover Quin sacked the second year quarterback early on Sunday putting him out of the game. A MRI is scheduled for Monday and beat reporter Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean expects Locker to miss time.

Mike Munchak, the Titans coach, said after the game, “It is sore, we just don’t know to what level. We need to decide what happened. And then we’ll make a decision on what’s best for the player. We’ll evaluate that when we get more information tomorrow.”

The fear is that Locker may be out for multiple games.

Matt Hasselback took over when Locker left. He was 17/25 for 193 yards with 2 touchdown passes and 2 interceptions. The Titans loss 38-14 to the Texans.
