Jeff Burton Gets New Spotter, Brett Griffin is Out

Jeff Burton will have a new spotter starting this weekend at Richmond International Raceway. The Virginia born driver will be spotted by Mike Dillon on Saturday night. Richard Childress Racing has confirmed that Brett Griffin, who had been the spotter for Burton, will no longer act in that capacity.

Griffin also serves as the spotter and business representative for Elliott Sadler.

It was announced over last weekend that Sadler would not be returning to Richard Childress Racing in any fashion next season. This came as a bit of a shock considering Sadler was leading the Nationwide Series point standings.

It is also worth nothing that Brett Griffin is now @Bret_Griff on twitter.
