Tony Stewart drives Tank, sans Helmet

Tony Stewart will drive just about anything. Anything just happens to include a tank. The three time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion was at Charlotte Motor Speedway today to drive a tank.

Stewart said following his incident with Matt Kenseth on Saturday night that he would wreck the No. 17 every chance he got. Today he got into a tank.

Ironically Stewart did not wear a helmet for the event which is disappointing considering his recent toss last weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway. Also it is worth nothing that Stewart did not run over any media members, I suppose he had more productive things to do?

A tip of the visor to David Caraviello of NASCAR.com for informing us that the tank is a M-36 Jackson.
