Trevor Bayne to Be Sponsored in Three More Cup Races

Trevor Bayne, driver of the No.21 Ford Fusion for The Wood Brothers will be running the colors of red, white and blue as Good Sam/Camping World will be sponsoring the car for three races in the next two months.

Good Sam/Camping World will return to the No.21 at Atlanta this weekend for the Advocare 500. The paint scheme will also appear at the first race of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Chase, Chicagoland and finally at Charlotte Motor Speedway in October.

The sponsorship from Good Sam/Camping World has allowed the Wood Brothers and driver Trevor Bayne to significantly increase their schedule this year. At the beginning of the 2012 Sprint Cup season, the defending winners of the sport’s biggest race, the Daytona 500, had a schedule consisting of 12 races for the 2012 season.

Following the season opener at Daytona, a phone call was made to Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO of Good Sam/Camping World, inquiring if he would be interested in working with the Wood Brothers, a partnership that had already been created from the previous season. Mr. Lemonis accepted the offer and this led to an increase of four additional races, including the Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway back in May.

Eddie Wood, team co-owner said he and his team are proud to represent Good Sam/Camping World in some of the NSCS most important race events, among them the Labor Day weekend classic at Atlanta, and the first race of the Chase for the Sprint Cup, at Chicagoland. “We’re happy to have Good Sam/Camping World back on the car for three of our next four races,” Wood said. “Hopefully our car will continue to have the speed it’s had this season and we can make Mr. Lemonis proud.”
