Kyle Busch fastest at Indy 250 Nationwide final practice

Kyle Busch and his No.54 Monster Toyota Camry came out on top for Thursday’s Indy 250 Nationwide Series practice. Busch was fastest in both practice sessions today; in final practice he edged out brother Kurt Busch with a lap speed of 51.184.

Kurt Busch was second with a lap speed of 51.517, followed by Kasey Kahne with a lap speed of 51.535

The first Nationwide Series driver going for points was Justin Allgaier who was seventh fastest.

Kyle Busch is looking for his first Nationwide win of the season. Some would say a lot of “bad luck” has followed him with the switch from Joe Gibbs to running his own Nationwide race team. Kyle wants to prove that he has what it takes to do it himself with Monster Energy on board.

Last Season, Busch won eight Nationwide races and finished in the top ten eighteen times with Joe Gibbs Racing.

NASCAR Nationwide Qualifying is Saturday with the race following, we will see if the No. 54 Toyota Camry has what it takes to bring home the checkered flag this weekend in Indianapolis at the Indy 250.
