While Dodge says they will have a presence in NASCAR in 2013 another team is leaving the camp. MacDonald Motorsports, a Nationwide Series team that fields the #81 car, will switch to Toyota immediately. The team which is fielding one car this year is in 22nd in points on the season. They will use a Triad engine this coming week at Las Vegas but plans are expected to be announced later this week for the remainder of the season.
Jason Bowles is the driver of the #81 car. He finished 19th last week at Phoenix. He is hoping to full the full season with the team in the #81 car after making 5 starts over the last 3 years at the Nationwide level.
