According to a press release, jayski.com reports, the race team Go Green Racing is planning to run two cars for the 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) season.
A total of 14 different drivers drove the #39 car during the 34 races of the 2011 NNS season. The plan for 2012 is to run one car with a constant driver and to rotate other drivers in the second car.
“I am confident our team is capable of running in the top-15 every week, and look forward to building on our first season.” said team owner Archie St. Hilaire.
Right now it’s unclear if any of the drivers who drove the #39 car in 2011 is being considered for the full time ride in 2012. There are also a handful of drivers who do not have contracts for 2012 that could be options as well.
