With September arriving the WWE will move away from remembering what happened at SummerSlam and start to set the card for the Night of Champions pay-per-view.
One thing that happened on Monday Night RAW last week was the showcasing of John Cena who will be given his rematch against Brock Lesnar at the ppv.
Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erik Rowan have all become punching bags of late, especially given the results of RAW last week with Cena getting over at the expense of all three. Wyatt is in desperate need of something for the ppv while Rowan and Harper appear set to be just good enough to put someone else over.
Nikki and Brie Bella seem set for a ppv match. The two had an awkward looking interview last week and given their in-ring ability they will probably bomb out a ppv match. Expect the WWE to cram their angle into the middle of the show.
On the opposite end of the Divas spectrum is AJ Lee and Pagie. The two have more than enough ability to put on a good match and right now their crazy antics are keeping fans interested as well.
Expect the WWE to work Roman Reigns opponent for Night of Champions into the show. Right now its unclear if it will be Seth Rollins or Randy Orton.
The Usos are at odds with Goldust and Stardust following their match last week when the titles failed to change hands via a countout. It looks like the “cosmic key” is nothing more than the tag team straps.
All that and segments with Rusev, Jack Swagger and Bo Dallas!
