WWE superstar John Cena is being sued by a construction worker for just over $15,000 according to TMZ.com. The worker claims he was badly injured while working on Cena’s house back in 2010, so much so that he was unable to work.
The worker, Dale Ducharme, claims he fell off a scaffolding while remodeling Cena’s home. Ducharme says the scaffold that he was using was either defective or damaged and says it was Cena’s responsibility to make sure the equipment was safe.
A representative for Cena had no comment on the allegations.
Cena is currently rehabilitating from tricep surgery he had in August but will return at the Hell in a Cell PPV at the end of October.
