Free agent linebacker Larry Foote is not ready to retire from the NFL.
The 33-year-old was released by the Pittsburgh Steelers last Wednesday. After missing nearly all of the 2013 season there does not figure to be much of a market for Foote.
Just got off the phone with LB Larry Foote. Foote told me he has no immediate plans to retire and he'd still like to play for a contender.

Foote reportedly would like to play for a contender in 2014. Foote had eight tackles in one game for the Steelers in 2013. He had spent 11 of his 12 NFL seasons with the Steelers.
