The Pittsburgh Steelers will release linebacker LaMarr Woodley as a post-June 1 release saving $10.97 million against the salary cap this season.
Woodley’s $19.76 million in dead money will be spread out over the next two seasons.

The Steelers re-signed Jason Worilds which spelled doom for Woodley. Similarly the Steelers released Larry Foote.
There should be a market for the 29-year-old Woodley. He appeared in 11 games making 36 tackles and recording five sacks last season.
Woodley will be free to sign anywhere on Tuesday. We can not imagine he will wait long to sign an offer.
