The Dallas Cowboys have shut down wide receiver Miles Austin in an attempt to get his hamstring back to full strength.
While the idea of resting Austin may seem like a good idea going forward the Cowboys had already turned to Terrance Williams as their receiving option opposite of Dez Bryant.
Austin, 29, has had just 15 catches for 125 yards scattered over fives games.
