Titans at Patriots: AFC Playoff betting odds, point spread and tv info

The top seeded New England Patriots will host the Tennessee Titans in an AFC Divisional Round matchup on Saturday.

Entering this game the media has had a field day talking about what may or may not be going on behind the scenes with the Patriots. Here is what is known. The Patriots have the AGC’s best record at 13-3 and will be hosting a Titans team who is 10-7 on the year but just 4-5 on the road this year.

Coverage of this game airs on CBS beginning at 8:15 pm ET from Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA.

Comparing the numbers of quarterbacks Tom Brady and Marcus Mariota would bring just about everyone to laughs. Brady’s 4,577 passing yards and 32 touchdowns drawfs Mariota’s 3,232 and 13 touchdowns.

The Odds: The Patriots are a week high 13.5 point favorite against the Titans. The over/under for this game is also the highest on the board this week at 48.

If the Titans are going to hang in this one and try for an upset they will have to get craft and sneaky. The problem is, Patriots coach Bill Belichick may be the best in the league at those two things.

Personal Opinion: Scratch all this. Perhaps the NFL was trying to give everyone a Saturday night to do something besides watch football because this game is going to be a real dud.
