Falcons at Rams: NFC Wildcard round betting odds, point spread and tv info

About 11 months ago the Atlanta Falcons (10-6) were seeing a Super Bowl victory slip through their fingers. Now any chance of avenging that loss starts with a divisional round match-up against the NFC West winning Los Angeles Rams (11-5).

The game between the Falcons and Rams airs on NBC beginning at 8:15 pm ET from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California.

Coming off a MVP season, Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan topped 4,000 yards again this season tossing 1,444 of them to Julio Jones but only three of Jones’ 88 catches were touchdowns. On the other side of the field Jared Goff threw for 3,804 yards but his leading receiver Cooper Kupp recorded only 66 catches for 869 yards and five touchdowns. The Rams are also anchored well on the ground with Todd Gurley III who rushed for 13 touchdowns and 1,305 yards on the season.

The Odds: The Rams are 5.5 point favorites against the Falcons. The over/under for this game is 48.5 total points.

The Falcons of this year have not had the same luster as the team from a year ago having to play their way into the playoffs on the last week of the season. The Rams have looked good for much of the season but some question their schedule and inexperience entering this one.
