Cowboys finally release Kellen Moore

The Cowboys have finally released backup quarterback Kellen Moore.

Moore, 28, confusingly lasted three years with the Cowboys even being thrust into playing in three games during the teams awful 2015 season. Those marked his only time in the regular season. He completed 58.7 percent of his passes for 779 yards to go with four touchdowns and six interceptions.

This is not the first time Moore has been cut by the Cowboys. Moore was released on Sept 2 only to be resigned on the 5th.

Recently Cooper Rush had passed him on the depth chart and the team left him inactive last week. Moore could land with another organization on a practice squad but any chance of him playing in the regular season appears to be over.
