Tyrod Taylor succeeded in his first year as a starter in the NFL. Now the Bills quarterback believes he is the long-term solution for the team.
“I love playing for the organization, I love playing for the coaches, I love being around the guys,” Taylor said. “Like I said, I want to be the long-term guy for them. Ultimately that’s up to them. I know I’m under contract for another year, but right now I’m out here just taking it all in.”
Taylor is owed just $1 million for the 2016 season after making the Pro Bowl this year. Should the Bills wait him out and he produces like he did in 2015 then he would be looking at quite a payday. It has been expected that Taylor will get a new deal with the Bills before training camp.
