With a second meeting scheduled for Saturday all signs are pointing to Adam Gase becoming the next head coach of the Dolphins. The Miami Herald reports its unlikely that Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson even makes his Sunday scheduled interview.

The Dolphins have viewed Gase as their guy since the beginning and now will attempt to lock him up on Saturday. Gase has no head coaching experience. He would become the fourth straight Dolphins coach to make this his first head coaching gig following Cam Cameron, Tony Sparano and Joe Philbin.

Gase has proven to be a strong offensive coordinator thanks to his stints with the Broncos and Bears under John Fox.

Other names who had been linked to the Dolphins job were Doug Marrone, Mike Smith, Mike Shanahan,, Anthony Lynn and Dan Campbell.
