John Fox has taken over as the new head coach of the Chicago Bears.

With quarterback Jay Cutler owed $15 million for the 2015 season it would seem certain he would be under center entering the season. Yet, when asked about Cutler during his introductory press conference Fox declined to endorse Cutler as the Bears starting quarterback.

Here we go again.

Cutler will be working under his third different head coach since joining the Bears. The last two head coaches joined a team that already had the quarterback under contract.

“It doesn’t matter what player here, we’re going to start that process and I’m not there yet,” Fox said.

While Fox did not endorse Cutler but did let the media members in attendance know he had exchanged texts.

“I’m looking forward to getting to know Jay,” Fox said. “I just reminded him that this game’s only fun when you win, and we will.”
