Joe Philbin appears safe as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins despite a report from CBS Sports’ Jason LaCanfora that said his job may be on the hot seat.
LaCanfora’s report said tht new football czar Mike Tannenbaum would make a play for Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn but was rebuffed by Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald.
Salguero said there is “nothing to see” Â as far as a firing of Philbin is concerned.
Joe Philbin is Miami's coach for 2015. NOTHING to see here. Ugh. RT @asg_grant: @ArmandoSalguero thoughts on @JasonLaCanfora report?

Though three seasons as the Dolphins head coach Philbin is 23-25. The Dolphins have finished 8-8 in each of the last two seasons despite a roster which is seen as on the way up. Philbin will enter the 2015 season on the hot seat.
