Bills emerging as option for Mike Shanahan

The Bills recently had head coach Doug Marrone opt out of his contract. General manager Doug Whatley will stay around and choose the successor of Marrone.

That successor could be former Broncos and Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan. Previously Shanahan has been linked to the open jobs with the 49ers and Bears.

The Bills have already interviewed or scheduled interviews with Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase, Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and Chargers offensive coordinator Frank Reich.

With a talented roster outside of quarterback the Bills may be the most attractive coaching spot on the roster.
