The Chicago Bears have seen enough of general manager Phil Emery and head coach Marc Trestman. On Monday they both were fired.

Offensive coordinator Aaron Kromer, who was the anonymous source critical of Jay Cutler, was also fired.

Emery lasted three years as the Bears general manager. In his first season the Bears were 10-6 but he fired long time head coach Lovie Smith and replaced him with Trestman while giving quarterback Jay Cutler a massive extension. In two years under Trestman the Bears were 13-19.

It was not just the offense who struggled under Trestman. The Bears defense ranked 30th in each of the last two seasons.
