The Falcons will be playing the Saints with their season on the line. Good for them and quarterback Matt Ryan is that they will have their full assortment of wide receivers.
Julio Jones will be active as will Henry Douglas and Roddy White. Only Jones was at risk of missing Sunday’s game. He showed the Falcons enough in warmups to earn his way into this game.
The Jets will have Percy Harvin on the field in their AFC East match-up against the Patriots. It will be a tough assignment as he will be covered by Darrelle Revis.
DeAndre Hopkins will be active for the Texans this week after not practicing all week. He will have a tough go in fantasy circles as the Texans will start Case Keenum at quarterback. He’s a risky play at best but will be on the field. The Texans will also have running back Arian Foster ready for Sunday’s game. His status was never in doubt though.
Finally, no surprise here. Cam Newton will start for the Panthers. Newton can do no worse to himself by playing we are told. He will try to pull off a win and keep the Panthers slim playoff hopes alive. Derek Anderson has led the Panthers to two wins in the two games Newton his missed this year, though both came against a horrible Buccaneers team.
