Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray is expected to play in Sunday’s game against the Colts.

Murray suffered a broken left hand in Sunday’s win over the Eagles but has been able to practice this week for the Cowboys. The non-dominant hand of Murray will be protected by the Cowboys for this game and he may end up losing some snaps in passing situations to Lance Dunbar but it looks like the Cowboys have dodged a big bullet with the NFL’s leading rusher.

Of course the Cowboys providing Murray the running lanes he needs could be an issue.

Right tackle Doug Free has not practiced all week and will be replaced by Jeremy Parnell. Additionally rookie right guard Zack Martin suffered an ankle injury against the Eagles and while he expects to play this week it is far from a guarantee. If Martin is to miss the game then the Cowboys ground game takes a big hit with Mackenzy Bernadeau filling in for him.
