With his left hand wrapped, the NFL’s leading rusher participated in practice on Wednesday with the Cowboys.

DeMarco Murray broke his non-dominant hand last Sunday but was able to do all of the individual drills at Cowboys practice on Wednesday and even caught some passes out of the backfield.

It is looking like Murray will try and play in Week 16 against the Colts. The Cowboys are not guaranteed a playoff spot despite their win over the Eagles last week but could still win home-field advantage if they win out.

Murray has topped 100 yards in 11 of the Cowboys 14 games this season.

If he goes over the 100 yard mark on Sunday he will break Emmitt Smith’s franchise record for rushing yards in a season set in 1995. Murray has 1687 yards on the season with 11 touchdowns and has also been a nice pass catching target out of the backfield adding 54 receptions for 395 yards. Just as important is that Murray has not fumbled since Oct. 27 against the Redskins.
