Calvin Johnson and Reggie Bush both active against Buccaneers

The Lions will have two of their explosive offensive weapons active for Sunday’s tilt against the Buccaneers.

Both wide receiver Calvin Johnson and running back Reggie Bush will suit up for this game.

Johnson was rested in practice on Wednesday but is said to be 100-percent heading into this match-up against the 21st pass defense of the Buccaneers.

Coming off a big Thanksgiving Day game in which he caught 11 passes for 146 yards and two touchdowns the Lions are going to feed Johnson the ball early and often.

Likewise the Lions will have Bush and his bothersome ankle ready to go in this one. Lions coach Jim Caldwell has said that Bush will start but everyone knows that Joique Bell is the bread and butter of the ground game.

The biggest loser in Bush’s return is Theo Riddick.

Lions Inactives:  DT Nick Fairley, QB Kellen Moore, WR Ryan Broyles, DT Carrun Reid, OL Garrett Reynolds, DE Larry Webster and OG Rodney Austin.
