Sunday’s game between the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders is more than just a rivalry game with the team across the bay. No wait that is exactly what this is for the Raiders who at 1-11 on the season would love for nothing more than to ruin the 49ers decreasing chances of making the playoffs.
After reeling off three straight wins the 49ers played poorly on Thanksgiving night in a loss to the Seahawks dropping to 7-5 overall. Now they must rebound with a in here because remaining games against the Seahawks and Chargers will not be easy. (Though a season finale against the Cardinals looks good.)
