Even as the 49ers and their players attempt to downplay a departure of head coach Jim Harbaugh rumors continue.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter the team most likely to land Harbaugh is the Raiders while the Jets are another possibility.
Entering this season Harbaugh had led the 49ers to three straight NFC Championship games – including a Super Bowl appearance – but things have not gone the way that anyone planned this season and a rocky relationship with the 49ers front office may end his tenure in San Francisco.
One NFL source convinced Raiders are the favorite to trade for HC Jim Harbaugh, but Jets also known to be keeping a close eye on situation.

While its widely accepted that Rex Ryan will lose his job as the Jets head coach, his brother Rob may also be job hunting this offseason.
CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora reports that Ryan and Saints head coach Sean Payton “strongly dislike each other,” and “change is inevitable this offseason.”
With the Saints 4-7 and reeling, this is not that much of a surprise given their personalities and sideline clips of them having heated exchanges. Despite the poor record the Saints remain in the playoff hunt since the NFC South is all down this year.
Some will quickly link former Raiders head coach Dennis Allen to the spot since he previously served under Payton in New Orleans.
