Jack Crawford suffered broken thumb, will miss four weeks

Jack Crawford
Dallas Cowboys defensive end Jack Crawford suffered a broken thumb in the team’s Week 12 win over the New York Giants.

Crawford will undergo surgery on Tuesday and miss the next four weeks of action. If all goes well for Crawford he would be able to return to action for the season finale against Washington.

In 143 defensive snaps the 26-year-old backup has recorded eight tackles and two sacks. He spent the first two years of his NFL career with the Oakland Raiders.
