Ben Tate active and will play against Packers

Ben Tate will suit up and be active on the Vikigns in today’s game against the NFC North rival Packers.

Tate was waived by the Browns earlier this week only to end up with the Vikings. He will now share time with Joe Banyard behind Jerick McKinnon. Matt Asiata is out with a concussion.

While this is good news for the future of Tate expecting him to get more than a few carries is wishful thinking.

In eight games with the Browns he produced just 333 yards rushing on 106 attempts (3.1 average) and four touchdowns.
