Jadeveon Clowney feels good about return in win over Browns

First overall pick Jadeveon Clowney returned to the field on Sunday for the Houston Texans and immediately played an impact in the teams win over the Cleveland Browns.

The Texans and Clowney stymied the Browns run game and the former South Carolina Gamecock put pressure on Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer multiple times.

“I felt great. I moved around like I wanted to,” Clowney said. “I could have been better but I felt better than I did against Tennessee. I had a lot more confidence in my knee.”

Up next for the Texans are the Cincinnati Bengals. With Ryan Mallett under center and now a 5-5 record the Texans are facing a soft schedule throughout the rest of the season. It would have been hard to imagine a few weeks ago but the Texans are actually a playoff contender.
