Out of work since being released by the Seahawks in August, free agent quarterback Terrelle Pryor worked out with the Eagles this weekend.
The Eagles are looking for a third string quarterback with Nick Foles sidelined. Pryor has visited several teams since his release but has found no takers for a contract.
The 25-year-old has proven he can make moves with his legs at times in the NFL but has struggled badly at connecting with receivers. In 11 games with the Raiders last season he completed 57.4-percent of his passes for 1798 yards and a 7:11 touchdown to interception ratio.
Thad Lewis also worked out for the Eagles. Lewis spent last year with the Buffalo Bills seeing time as their starter but falling back on the depth chart this offseason before he was released.
Currently the Eagles have Mark Sanchez as their starter with Matt Barkley as the backup. G.J. Kinne is on the Eagles practice squad.
Chiefs workout Santonio Holmes
Another free agent who has visited multiple NFL teams this season is wide receiver Santonio Holmes. He recently visited the Chiefs who are thin at receiver with Donnie Avery and A.J. Jenkins both dealing with injury.
The 30-year-old Holmes was released by the Bears this week after showing very little while on the field. At this point he is merely a veteran presence with possession skills.
