Bills sticking with Kyle Orton at QB

Despite back to back poor games out of Kyle Orton the Buffalo Bills will not entertain benching him for E.J. Manuel.

“No, right now, that hasn’t crossed my mind,” head coach Doug Marrone said.

The Bills are still in the playoff hunt and even as Orton has produced back to back poor games he is still the better option at the position.

Part of the frustration with Orton is how strong he played when first thrust into the starters role.

For now Orton remains more accurate and has a better touchdown to interception ratio (10:5) than Manuel (5:3).

Should they fall out of the playoff picture then the Bills may opt to give Manuel another shot. It could be as soon as two weeks from now.
