Carson Palmer injures knee against Rams, carted off field

Earlier this week Carson Palmer signed a three-year extension with the Arizona Cardinals.

On Sunday the quarterback of the Cardinals went down with a knee injury in the fourth quarter of a game against the St. Louis Rams. Palmer had to be carted off the field and into the locker room.

Drew Stanton – who filled  in for Palmer during his nerve issue – has been inserted into the game. For now Palmer has been ruled questionable to return.
