A plea deal for Adrian Peterson could be done as soon as Tuesday reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Peterson has been out of action since early September after allegations of child abuse came to light. Given that plea deals are viewed as guilty verdicts the NFL very well could impose further suspensions upon Peterson.
There is no indication what the NFL’s decision may be in regard to Peterson or if any credit will be given to the previous time served.
Adrian Peterson and his reps have been in ongoing talks to reach a plea agreement that could be done as early as Tuesday, per sources.

Rumblings outside of Minnesota suggest that the Vikings have already moved on from Peterson.
Jerick McKinnon has been running in place of Peterson. Though eight games this year he has run 76 times for 392 yards (5.2 average) while adding 17 catches for 92 yards.
