Mortensen: Seahawks unlikely to bring back Lynch next year

Appearing on NFL on ESPN, Chris Mortensen reported that the Seattle Seahawks were growing tired of running back Marshawn Lynch.

It has been no secret that Lynch does not always have the best personality but he has always been able to produce while on the field.

The problem for Lynch now is that he turns 29 in April and is owed $8.5 million. By cutting Lynch the Seahawks can save $7 million.

In his six games this season Lynch has run for 420 yards and three touchdowns. He has a 4.3 yards per carry average and has caught 16 asses for 145 yards and three touchdowns.
