In what is turning out to be a best case scenario, the Arizona Cardinals are expected to have quarterback Carson Palmer start Sunday’s game against  the Washington Redskins.

Backup Drew Stanton will also be ready to go after being cleared from a concussion suffered a week ago. The Cardinals entered the week with the possibility of Logan Thomas making his first career start.

GAME INFO: Cardinals vs. Redskins

Palmer had been out of action due to a nerve issue with his right throwing shoulder.

Palmer has been limited to just one game this season. In that contest against San Diego he was 24-of-37 for 304 yards with two touchdowns.
