Brandon Browner will not play in Week 6 against Bills

The New England Patriots activated cornerback Brandon Browner recently but will not place him on the field for Sunday’s Week 6 contest against the Buffalo Bills.

Alfonzo Dennard is expected to play opposite of Darrelle Revis.

Browner’s four game suspension ended on September 30. The physical corner combined with Richard Sherman to form a force in the secondary in Seattle. He had been expected to be ready for Week 6 so the decision to not play him this week must mean he is still not ready.

The Patriots play the New York Jets in Week 7 on Thursday.
