In need of linebackers, the Steelers are bringing back one of the best in franchise history. It will not be one of those one day celebratory contracts instead the team will add James Harrison to their roster with the intent to play the 36-year-old.
Harrison will meet with the Steelers on Tuesday and should sign shortly after. Harrison left the Steelers following the 2012 season spending a season with the Bengals. He has already released a Instragram video saying that he was returning to the Steelers.
With Jarvis Jones landing on the injured reserve/designated list Monday the Steelers needed a body. Harrison is as familiar with Dick LeBeau’s schemes as anyone.
