The Chargers lost running back Ryan Mathews late in their game against the Seahawks on Sunday.
Mathews was rolled up while trying to fall on a fumble. He had to be carted off the field.
If Mathews is out for an extended amount of time then Donald Brown would figure to get most of the work between the tackles. Danny Woodhead would also see more action.
Mathews ran for just 31 yards on 11 carries prior to exiting the game. He also had two catches for 26 yards.
