Running back Doug Martin is inactive for Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams.
The knee of Martin has him inactive for Week 2 which leaves Bobby Rainey as the starter for today’s game. Mike James will be the backup for the Buccaneers.
There had been some questions as whether the knee injury or a fumble had been the reason Martin did not play late in Week 1.
Other inactive are RE Michael Johnson, TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins, CB Rashaan Melvin, OL Kevin Pamphile, OL Kadeem Edwards, and OL Rishaw Johnson.
