Tajh Boyd failed to make the New York Jets roster after being taken in the sixth round of this years NFL Draft. That does not mean that his chances in the NFL are over.
Boyd has a workout with the Buffalo Bills. The Bills currently have starter E.J. Manuel and Kyle Orton on their 53-man roster. Jeff Tuel is signed to the practice squad.
If the Bills do not sign Boyd he will then go on to a workout for the Carolina Panthers.
More than likely Boyd is nothing more than a practice squad stash for teams hoping to practice for games which feature a scrambling quarterback. There were reports that Boyd struggled to pick up the Jets playboook during training camp.
