Teddy Bridgewater was 4-of-9 passing for 17 yards while adding a touchdown in the Minnesota Vikings preseason finale.
The No. 32 overall pick finished the preseason with a fine line of 30-of-49 for 283 yards and a sparkling five touchdowns to no interceptions line.
Matt Cassel was named the starter to open the season for the Vikings but the reality is that Bridgewater will see starts at some point this season. Given his preseason numbers calls for Bridgewter could come sooner rather than later.
After playing St. Louis in Week 1 the Vikings have a schedule of New England, New Orleans, Atlanta and finally Green Bay.
