The Buffalo Bills have reached out and signed free agent quarterback Jordan Palmer.
Palmer, 30, has become a journeyman in recent years. He was picked up by the Chicago Bears in the offseason and played well during the preseason only to lose out on their backup job to Jimmy Clausen.
The Bills will now give Palmer a chance to backup E.J. Manuel after Thad Lewis and Jeff Tuel have both struggled in preseason action.
